Abstract

Indonesia is known by its diversity and one of them is medicinal plants. Therefore, development of small-size medicinal plants based industry like jamu industry is strategic effort and must be well prepared. The result of this study used Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM) technique were development system structural, clasification of elements which were based on its driver power level and dependency level and key elements of small-size jamu industry development.

Abstract

This research conducted at the village of Wonorejo, Sub-District of Jatiyoso, Regency of Karanganyar with consideration that the region is proven shalom be happened flood an landside though is seen from the topography of that area included sensitive of flood and landslide. This research type is qualitative with using th e strategy of mono case study and fenomenologies approach. Used analysis technique is mono case analysis, in the each case process the analysis will be conducted by using the interactive analysis model (reduction data, presented data and verification.).Cultural values friction is progressively felt, farm allotment, more considering only the economic value them paying attention to environmental aspect, and experienced resource conservation. making of house Location, what is not based again for local wisdom, at local society. In conducting the effort peasant, orienting at commodity which quickly yield and high economic valuable without considering ecological balance. Existence of local culturol value friction seed ·what mirror in local wisdom, if it is not made balance to with the policy, or regulation mounted local felt concerned about will affect, at eroding of local wisdoms of peasant, which during the time still hold out, in managing effort peasant and also anticipate the floods and landslide.

Abstract

To previous research entitling "Penataan Kelembagan Penyuluhan Pertanian Dalam Rangka Revitalisasi Penyuluhan Pertanian di Kabupaten Sragen " the aimed of rhis research circumstansial congeniality about settlement of extension institute in Sragen Regency. The research result showed in the effort revitality extension agriculture in Sragen Regency have formed the "house self' to field extension workers namely with "Badan Pelaksana Penyuluhan (BAPELUH)." In other side, so far perception of field extension workers and farmer toward effort revitality institute is positif. According to them, with the existance of this program, field extension workers more paid attention. Though some among farmer don't know the name of extension revitality instirute but farmer assess the condition of farmers extension workers in now more motivated, active and proactive and progressively entangle the farmer partisipatively in decision making.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the revenue and cost from agryculture sector and non agryculture sector in farmer family. It wants to know the condition of the farming in Karanganyar Regency. The method used in this research was analytical descriptive with survey in implementation. The location was selected purposively and it was Kecamatan Karangpandan Kabupaten Karanganyar. The data used in this research was data of 2004. The result of this research shown that revenue the peasant from sector agryculture was small. It caused the peasant also work in sector non agryculture. The average revenue the peasant from cultivation is about Rp. 2.670.692 and from sector non agryculture they get increasing revenue Rp. 1.897.616 every year.

Abstract

The research is aimed at studying the leadership applied by the farmer's contact in farmer's group in Ngemplak sub-district, its dynamics, and the impact of the leadership farmer's contact toward the dynamics of farmer's group in Ngemplak, Boyolali Regency. The result of the research shows that the leadership of the farmer's contact, in terms of its characteristic, role, and the function of the farmer's contact is considered to be fair good. Farmer's group dynamics through the sociological approach including social strata, member's role, trust, and appreciation is categorized to be good, while the sanction, norm, authority, and press among the members is also good. Farmer's group dynamics through the psycho-social approach including group objectives, structure, work function, education and maintenance, solidarity, condition, pressure, and the affectivity of the group is categorized to be good. The result of the Spearman Rank Correlation test shows that there is a significant correlation between the farmer's contact leadership and the analysis of the farmer's group dynamics through the sociological and psycho-social approach.

Abstract

Famer community's understanding to problems faced and their resources will become promoter in their effort to exit from poorness and improve life prosperity. This research aim to improve the awareness of village community to know their problems faced, resources potential had, and formulate the resolving alternative to their problems. In this research, data is in qualitative character. Data obtained through partisipative approach with the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method. Data analysis was done by logical framework to compiled plan of village community activities.
